Andrea Lillian French

FRENCH, Andrea Lillian of Arlington, entered into eternal rest, unexpectedly, Sunday, October 12, 2025.  She was 38 years of age.  Andrea was born in Boston and grew up on the South Shore where she once worked as a preschool teacher.

Andrea was the beloved daughter of Veronica French and the late Martin D.J. French; the dear step-daughter of Ken Temple; loving sister to Nick French and his wife, Anne Jorgensen; devoted granddaughter of Thomas French and the late Frances French, and the late Richard and Pauline Waldron; loving niece of Billy Waldron and his partner, Jimmy Choate, Joseph Waldron, Raymond Waldron and his wife, Cristine, Katherine French and her spouse, Patricia Ausman and Elizabeth French; dear cousin of Lena and Collin Waldron.

Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend Andrea’s visitation in the Short, Williamson & Diamond Funeral Home, 52 Trapelo Road, Belmont, Monday, October 20, 2025 from 10 a.m.-11:30 a.m. followed by a funeral service in the First Church in Belmont, Unitarian, 404 Concord Avenue, Belmont at 12 p.m.  Burial will follow at Forest Hills Cemetery, Boston. In lieu of flowers, donations to any one of the following organizations would be sincerely appreciated.
